Lymphatic drainage massage uses slow, gentle and rhythmic movements to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body's lymphatic system.
Unlike traditional massage, this treatment uses very light pressure. It is not designed to work deeply into the muscles.
You might benefit from lymphatic drainage massage if:
You're experiencing a feeling of heaviness or fluid retention.
You're looking for a gentle, specialised massage approach.
You've been advised to consider lymphatic drainage following surgery and have appropriate medical clearance.
What happens during your appointment?
We'll begin with a consultation to understand your reasons for seeking treatment, relevant medical history and whether this approach is suitable for you.
The treatment involves gentle, rhythmic movements applied to selected areas of the body, following an appropriate lymphatic drainage approach.
Sessions are adapted to your needs, and I'll explain what to expect before we begin.
The aim: To support lymphatic fluid movement using a gentle, considered approach.
Please note: Lymphatic drainage massage is not suitable for everyone. If you have a medical condition, unexplained swelling or are recovering from surgery, medical advice and clearance may be needed before treatment.
